Representing the Six Nations community within the electronic music scene, Shub (formerly of A Tribe Called Red) leads the charge with his debut, 6-track EP "PowWowStep." The release is a masterwork from start to finish; each song uniting heavy breakbeats and massive bass drops with traditional drumming and singing from the Northern Cree Singers, the Black Lodge Singers, and smoke dance singer Frazer Sundown. “With this EP, you can live in the moment, forget about things and feel your culture at the same time, and that’s something I thought was very important,” says Shub. Listen to the entire EP on your favourite streaming platform below and catch "Big Crow" on our Spotify playlist BEATS OF THE BASS.
