Self-defined under the epithet "H.I.R.D Music" (Hiphop, Indie, Rock, Dance), and breaking past these genres with his latest release, Los Angeles native Andrew Grant drops onto the scene with his original tune Slow Burn!
As the first in a series of original releases planned throughout 2016, Andrew Grant's Slow Burn is an ecstasy-loaded production that is just as epic as it is meaningful. Beginning with a reverbified guitar riff and Grant's pensive lyrics dealing with the self-questioning doubt on making it in whatever passion lies ahead, the track quickly builds into a progressive chorus line that gracefully drops into chillstep territory. Grant's powerful vocals bridge into an undying bass-filled wobble that enthralls the listener into hypnotic euphony. As the track continues to build in the second verse, the lyrics start to become more and more auspicious, carrying the listener to the pinnacle of their ambitions.
Slow Burn follows in the footsteps of Grant's successful cover of Post Malone's White Iverson (check that out below); a distorted, tribal version of the original's rap style.
