Forging ahead of the alternative pop movement with boundless melody and violet-hued beats, Atlanta outfit CLAVVS (pron. CLAWS) go full "Bloom" in their new single. As the third release from their forthcoming sophomore LP, the track harmonizes trap-inspired beats via. producer Graham Marsh, with vocalist Amber Renee's magnetic timbre. The self-proclaimed "spectral trip-hop" duo have truly outdone themselves with this one, stretching the margin of depth and symbolism imbued into their music. “It’s a song about being a woman and a human being. The whole record is an exercise in repurposing typically feminine evils like sirens and serpents into powerful, beautiful symbols. ‘Bloom’ is about owning those archetypes and subverting them.” Check it out below!
